Behind the scenes II: Guided tour through the depot of the Museum of Asian Art in the Humboldt Forum

The objects on display in the Humboldt Forum represent only a part of the impressive treasures of the Museum of Asian Art. The remaining valuable pieces are securely stored in depots designed as study collections.

Dr Uta Schröder, the collection manager, will offer a rare glimpse into the depot during an exclusive guided tour at the Humboldt Forum. On this special occasion, participants will learn more about the background to the collections and the challenges involved in moving these cultural treasures from Dahlem to the Humboldt Forum.
